Nate is such a motivated young man. He decided this past November to participate in his schools Turkey Trot. It is part of his plan to be more healthy. What helped motivate this plan was a bet that Jer offered to all the boys at halloween to not eat candy and desserts for a whole year for $200.00. Nate was the only one who took him up on the bet.
In the Turkey Trot they ran a total of 1 and 2/3 mile and Nate ran the entire thing in the cold air that day without stopping . He actually finished in the top 1/3 of the kids. he had lots of supporters that day including his Nanny and Aunt Heather, Grandma and Grandpa Fergi and his two little brothers, oh and mom, of course. He is still going on his bet of not eating treats with 4 1/2 months down and 7 1/2 to go. He is determined to go the whole year. We are so proud of our Nater's
