Halloween

 

Halloween this year was fun and different. Caden decided that since it was his last year trick-or-treating he was going to go all out and so him and Nate devised a plan for an outrageous costume. They built a haunted house that they could both fit in and wear, where the candy would go down the chimney. Pierce decided he wanted to play in a baseball tournament instead of doing any of the halloween stuff so he was down in mesquite at his tournament until around 9:30. Brycen decided to be a bomber pilot after his brothers Caden and Nate dressed him up in it a few days before halloween. Before that Brycen hadn't been able to decide what to be. And last of all Paycen knew exactly what he wanted to be, a ghost!

On Halloween night we ate our traditional chili and cornread and then Granda Fergi and Grandpa Doyle came to see the costumes. Then Caden and Nate manned the house for trick-or-treaters for about an hour while Me and Jer took Brycen and Paycen out. Casey and Meghan joined us in our neighborhood and we had a good time watching the little guys get candy. Paycen asked for his costume off and to be carried about half way through. After we got back Caden and Nate got to go with friends in the neighborhood while Brycen and Paycen sat outside with Me and Jer to give candy to the trick-or-treaters. Grandpa Terrell came to see us while we were handing out candy. Once Caden and Nate got back we went to Grandma Vickie And Grandpa Dave's house to meet up with the Taysoms and enjoy some good food and let the boys eat doughnuts off a string and count thier candy. I just love holidays!
