Brycen Starts Pre-school

Brycen has started pre-school and it has been so cute to see him adjust to this whole new experience. He has two of cousins in his class so that helped a ton with his shyness. He is excited to go everyday and everyday when I pick him up he has a huge smile on his face and is full of information about everything they did that day. He is learning to write his name, numbers and all kinds of cute songs about the days of the week, holidays etc. They do all kinds of projects that he brings home and that Paycen immediately gets a hold of to check it out. Paycen sure misses his buddy when Brycen is at school. I cant believe were at this point, starting the whole school thing again now with Brycen and soon to follow Paycen.

Simple things

Sometimes is just the simple little things that make you smile the most. The other morning Brycen and Paycen were eating breakfast with mom and were talking about dinosaurs and Paycen said "I like dinosaurs because they eat bumble bees". So cute! Bumble bees hadnever even bean brought up in a conversation...ever, but it came to his mind just then. Paycen is definately showing us that he is the baby of the family. He has drawn on just about everything in the house so far including his new buzzlightyear bedding. He is absolutely enthrawled with Toy Story just like his older brother Caden was at his age and has been handed down Caden's old Buzz Lightyear and Woody toys from 10 years ago...ok, so Paycen just walked in the office while I was typing this and asked if he could watch buzz woody...he was just emphasizing my point. Paycen has the cutest little voice and talks so good in his little voice that it just makes me smile. His favorite song to sing right now is twinkle twinkle little star.  Mommy loves you Paycen.
This was at Brycen b-day party. This is Paycen and his cousin Boston playing nintendo ds games. He is addicted to Mario and Luigi and funny enough he aways wants to be luigi, which is the always the second player. But he doesnt care, hejust likes luigi ( I think its because he is green and green is his favorite color).

Brothers

Like our blog says, we have a house full of boys! These are some great pics of my boys being awesome brothers! This first one is Brycen and Paycen playing Buzz Lightyear fighting with toilet paper rolls on their hands... they play soft.

This is a great snapshot of just how close Brycen and Paycen are. They are and always will be buddies.

Nate is always so good to get down and right in on a game or something that the little guys are interested in. This was at the park taking family pictures. He got down with them to look at Fergi, grandma's dog, that was in the carrier waiting her turn for pictures. He was at lake powell for a week and was greatly missed by the little guys. When he got home all three of them were inseperable for a few days.Believe it or not Pierce was enjoying cooking with his assistant chef, Brycen (Pierce just hates to have his picture taken). Pierce is always a big help in the kitchen and these days he is cooking all kinds of things with no assistance from me.

This was a big water balloon fight we decided to have on a hot summer day just about a month ago. Brycen and Paycen didn't throw at eachother but Caden and Nate sure did! What an action shot! This is Brycen "reading" a book to Paycen. I hadn't seen them for a little while that morning and found them in their room, on a pile of pillows, reading. I just
thought it was so adorable.

Caden and Nate took a cooking class together for about four months. This was one of the projects that they brought home. Fondont cakes decorated with turtles on top, I think it was a tropical theme. They reallly enjoy cooking and I would say that Nate really has a passion for it.

This is a game they call "worm" where they roll up in as many blankets and pillows as possible. It usually gets played on sunday when we have lots of time just at home with eachother. They also make blanket pulls where they put the little guys onto slippery blankets and pull them all around the house. Brycen and Paycen love it and it makes Caden, Pierce and Nate have big "muskles" as we say.

It has been such an awesome experience to have older boys and younger boys all together. My older boys have loved having babies added to our family and have been such a great example of what older brothers should be. Dont get me wrong, there are still squables and fights like any house full of boys will have, but for the most part they really have been great! I love you boys!

Jeremy/Daddy

What a good Daddy! Jeremy is always so good to take time with all of his boys. These are just a couple of pictures with the little guys. I couldnt dream of having a better, sweeter, more loving partner for life and eternity than my sweetheart Jeremy. He supports me in everything I decide to do. He is an example to me in patience. He is so involved with his kids and with his family. He is strong in the gospel and a wonderful example of a man, husband and father for all 5 of our boys to look to, to become like. I love you more than words can say.

Pierce's B-Day

Pierce decided this year to go to a baseball game with his dad instead of have a birthday party with friends... not that it was surprising since he has always been a sports fanatic and is currently playing baseball which means it is currently his favorite sport. They also visited Grandma Anderson with Jer's brothers Casey and Barry and two of Pierce's cousins, Seven and London. It was a fun quick trip to Pheonix. Of course this year the city fireworkd ended up being on Pierce's birthday which made it even funner. We sure love having Pierce in the fam!
Two sports fanatics!!!

Girls Trip

This is the girls trip to Park City. Me and my mom and sisters try to take a girls trip once a year to catch up and have fun together. We had a blast and did all kinds of things we might not normally do. We went down the extreme zip-line and rode the alpine slide at the Olympic park that was built for the olympic games. The right picture above  is in front of the downhill jumps. We were also able to watch some athletes practice the arial ski jumps where they do tricks in the air then they landed in a special pool at the bottom. It was really neat to see it all. We played hard, shopped at all the little shops as well as the outlets and then jacuzzied every night out in the open next to the mountains at the gorgeous hotel we stayed at. It felt great to get away for a while and even better to come home after.
The picture below is my mom, my sister Randi and my sister Cammy on the Alpine slide.

Brycen's B-Day

Brycen had his first friend birthday this year! We rented a big blow up slide and had pizza & cake. He had his cousins Ahston, Rylee, Boston, Dallin & Brighton and two of his best friends Aidan and Olivia (twins)come. The little kids had a blast and played so hard they were exhausted. Then the big kids got to play. Its so cute to see him start to have his own friends to play with and have a sleepover or two. Brycen is so easy going and enjoys doing just about anything. He has such a cute and contageous laugh you cant help but have fun around him. Happy Birthday Brycen! We Love You!

End of school

Well school has finally ended and it is summer! We had a lot of things going for the end of the school year. Caden performed with his school choir for and end of year concert singing and playing the xylophone and sounding great.

Pierce played baseball twice a week for the last two months with Jer coaching him. They played awesome taking first place in the league and we got to spend time with family that would come support them at the games. This is one of his 4 home runs.Pierce also performed with his school band for an end of year concert and played a few different instruments walking bck and forth across the stage throughout the performance to get to the different instruments... I'm sure that was tough for him since he hates that kind of spotlight attention. And Nate had a "Give Me Liberty" program that showcased all of the things they learned and memorized about our nation, it's founders and why we have our freedom. He earned the T-shirt for memorizing all 50 states and capitols and also earned the highest award of a trophy for passing of all of the required things (which were many!) including memorizing the gettysburgh address. Brycen and Paycen got to go and support thier brothers at all of these events and were just as full of energy as they always are, which meant either mom or dad had to miss a little of whatever event we were at to entertain the little guys.
